Remember when Damn Daniel and the Running Man Challenge were so big that everyone had their own versions on Social Media? Well, another trend is taking over the Internet. However, unlike the previous ones, this one’s on the mean side.
Teenagers in the US are getting crazy over the “Huh Challenge”. Huh? Well, yes! That’s what they call this new Snapchat/ Instagram/ Twitter fad. So what is the “Huh Challenge”?
Just like its predecessors, participants take a video of themselves and their peers and post it on social media. However, this isn’t just another funny, wacky clip. The video maker will come up to someone, call them out and roasting them — usually telling them a brutally mean statements — then shouts “Huuuuuhhh” before the video ends.

“Quickly thereafter, it inspired a bunch of other people to do the same. Teens are now running around with a camera, surprise-roasting everyone they encounter, and cutting together their best roasts in videos,” BuzzFeed wrote.
A Twitter account for the Huh Challenge was even created, retweeting some of the funniest #HuhChallenge videos.
While a lot of teens find the videos funny, some think it encourages bullying and being mean to people. Some have been vocal on Twitter, calling out the creator for the trend.
The #huhchallenge is stupid. Nothing about humiliating/insulting people is funny. This generation is so ignorant, I swear. 🙄

The #huhchallenge sounds like a way for bullying in schools to be taken as a joke.

The #huhchallenge is a form of bullying. It's plain stupid and it makes the person doing it feel better than the rest but he's not.

Whether it’s a form of bullying or just plain fun, there’s no denying that the Huh Challenge is the coolest thing for teens right now. Huuuuuuuuh!
