Resident Evil 7 is still over three months away but gamers are already going gaga over the title’s gameplay. While the Resident Evil 7 demo has already been released, we have more information to whet your gaming appetites.
For starters, Capcom has finally released the system requirements for the PC version of the video game. PC gamers will be happy to know that the game isn’t spec demanding and a super computer is not required for playing. According to RE7‘s Steam Page, it will require a minimum processor of Intel Core i5-4460, 2.70GHz or AMD FX-6300, while it recommends the use of Intel Core i7 3770 3.4GHz or AMD or better.
For the graphic cards, a minimum of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 or AMD Radeon R7 260x is required. Of course, a higher spec would mean a better, smoother gameplay graphics. Windows 7 or higher is required with at least an 8GB ram.
The page, however, noted that since the game is still in development, all Resident Evil 7 PC specs requirements are still subject to change.
“Internet connection required for game activation. The game is still undergoing development, so all PC requirements are subject to change.”
Resident Evil 7 Demo Update for PS4
The developers also released a new update to the Resident Evil 7 demo featuring new gameplay storyline and new mysteries. The demo dubbed “Twilight” is available for all PS4 users, no need for a PS Plus free games account.
“Now is your chance to investigate on your own if you haven’t had the chance to before, as both newcomers and veterans of Beginning Hour will be able to see what’s changed in the run-down rooms and decrepit corridors,” the official PlayStation blog revealed.
Among the additions are new mysteries gamers should solve. Including the use of the confusing Resident Evil 7 dummy finger! Yes, finally we can do something with the item.
How to use Dummy Finger on Resident Evil 7?
Gamers can find a bunch of celluloid near the old TV sets in the new attic room. The item is actually a part of the dummy hand gamers have acquired since the demo was released months ago. However, aside from building the dummy finger, there’s not much to use of the item yet. Probably another update will give more meaning and use of the dummy finger.
“Well, that’s stretching it a bit, but you can at least combine the two items together to form a dummy hand, complete with index finger that is able to ‘point’ in a direction when you examine it,” PlayStation Universe wrote.
Resident Evil 7 release date for PC, PS4 and Xbox One is scheduled for January 24, 2017.
