Adidas has just revealed the newest Yeezy Boost 350 V2 much to fans’ excitement. Even better news, however, is that a standalone Yeezy store is coming to California very soon.
The newest Yeezys are the talk of the town, and sneakerheads are already expected to lineup for hours just to cop the shoes. While the complete Yeezy 350 v2 store list has not been revealed yet, several sneaker stores have already confirmed the release on Saturday, Sept 24. But in a new update, the Yeezy 350 v2 might have its own store very soon.
Kanye West recently revealed that he is already working with Adidas to set up a standalone, brick and mortar Yeezy store. He reveals that the first store will probably be in California, but over 200 shops are planned for the next year.
“I believe the first one will be in California, since that’s where I stay now,” the Grammy winner told Vogue. “I can go by there most often, check in, get the vibe. But I want to do 200 stores in the next year.”
The establishment of a store may finally make the sneakers, and all other Yeezy apparel more affordable. Currently, the Yeezy 350 V2 price is set at $220. A bit pricey for a lifestyle sneaker.
However, West noted that with or without a physical store, his aim is to offer affordable yet very stylish items.
“I’m very focused on trying to make things far more affordable, far more beautiful, and for far more people.”
So far, Kanye nor Adidas have confirmed details about the Yeezy store. It’s still unclear whether it will be opening this weekend. However, should a pop up shop open in time for the Yeezy 350 v2 release, fans can expect a huge crowd taking over the retail.
Yeezy Boost 350 V2 is the follow up version of Kanye’s super successful debut collaboration with Adidas.
