The geek-fest is back as The Big Bang Theory season 10 returns tomorrow night! And if the geek squad isn’t enough for episode 1, fans can expect a ton other guests in line for the premiere EP.
Big Bang Theory 2016 is returning for its 10th season, and episode 1 won’t be amiss with excitement. For starters, fans will finally see the much-awaited Penny, Leonard wedding. Yup! The couple will finally be tying the knot (again!) in front of their friends and even family. According to TheSpec, the wedding be a star studded one with guest from TV shows like Roseanne, Taxi, Married…with Children, and 30 Rock.
“Everywhere you look, it’s TV royalty,” notes Melissa Rauch who will plays Bernadette.
Penny, Leonard’s Parents and Family
Aside from Rauch, fans will finally see Penny’s family as Katey Sagal will be starring as Penny’s “insecure” mom. Jack McBrayer will also guest star as Penny’s ex-convict brother.
“Jack’s hilarious,” Katey Cuoco, who plays Penny, revealed. “He thinks we have it too easy here. He makes fun of us.”
Leonard’s dad, Alfred, will also be appearing on episode of The Big Bang Theory season 10. Reports hint of a possible budding romance between him and Sheldon’s mom, Mary.
“I hope Alfred and I are able to continue to see each other. I think we’re the only ones who are pleased about that,” Laurie Metcalf, who plays Mary, revealed.

Aside from the wedding, fans can expect a lot of new things from the squad this season. For one, we may see Penny with a new job. Executive producer Steve Molaro also hinted at the possibility of Penny and Leonard living together. In an interview with Glamour, Molaro revealed that Leonard may move in with his new wife “very near future”
“It’s not right away, but in the very near future, we will start poking with experiments regarding the living situation.”
The TV series executive also revealed that Bernadette will be giving birth this season. Molaro even confirmed that Rauch already has a prosthetic belly with her on set.
As for Sheldon and Amy — well fans will be seeing more of them together this season. If you know know what I mean. *wink*
“I’m sure she would like it to be a little more often than once a year,” Molaro joked.
The Big Bang Theory season 10 is gonna be one hell of a season, and episode 1 will definitely be a must-watch. The Big Bang Theory season 10 episode airs tomorrow, 8/7 central on CBS.
