Fallout 4’s Wasteland Workshop Arrives Next Week

By on

The 2nd addon for Fallout 4, Wasteland Workshop, arrives on April 12th. Get ready to capture Mirelurks and abuse them for your own devious machinations.

To commemorate the Addon’s release, Bethesda released a new trailer today, showing off some of the features and possibilities of Wasteland Workshop.

Personally, building and maintaining settlements was my least favorite aspect of Fallout 4, but it seemed like others actually quite enjoy it. To each their own, I guess. This addon is the one for them. The trailer doesn’t hint at any sort of story, or narrative at all, which is probably why the narration just came off as pitifully meandering. There’s only so many ways to sell more features for building your settlements, and the inclusion of traps and cages for capturing whatever your heart desires.

Let’s not kid ourselves, though. Wasteland Workshop is mostly just a stopgap until we get our hands on Far Harbor, which will – hopefully – be the Fallout 4 addon we’re all anticipating the most.

That and, of course, survival mode.
