Gearbox Software CEO and President, Randy Pitchford, announced a couple of weeks ago in a nerdist podcast that Borderlands 2 had some more DLC coming, but didn’t really go too much into it except for saying “Everyone has this expectation that those would be the four DLCs and then that’s it!” he then added “We’re going to do more. We’re going to do some other things. We don’t have details yet about it exactly”.

This morning at PAX in Australia, Gearbox Software had those details.

So if you’re a fan of the “Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon’s Keep” DLC, you’ll be glad to know that some fantasy themed heads from the mind of Tiny Tina will be coming your way via SHIFT codes for your character’s customization.

Next up is the “Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2”. This little gem will increase the level cap to 72, and add the Digistruct Peak Challenge, which, according to incgamers.com is “a new training course map that pits you against digistructs of enemies, letting you face off against enemy combinations you wouldn’t normally see in the base game”. It will also put you back $5, as it is not covered by the Season Pass.

Finally, if you miss the days of Borderlands 1, and especially it’s DLC, “The Zombie Island of Dr Ned”, you’ll be pleased to know that “Headhunter Pack: T.K. Baha’s Bloody Harvest” will be feeding your nostalgia with a new mission and a boss fight with “Jaques O’Lantern”, which will unlock further customisation options.

So do these new releases get you hungry for more Borderlands 2? Drop us a comment and let us know.
