It has been confirmed! In an interview with Gamespot Ubisoft’s Senior Vice President of marketing and sells Tony Key confirmed a sequel to last years hit game. “It’s a great brand, and now it’s got the recognition it deserves, so we’re clearly going to make another one: more on that soon.”
This is exciting news for anyone who played Far Cry 3 or the arcade game Far Cry 3 :Blood Dragon, both of which were honestly some of the better games from 2012. The Open-World genre is currently what is in demand, and Ubisoft knows it. “They don’t want linear; they want open,” This is an obvious observation from anyone looking forward to the next generation of games. It almost seems as if linear singleplayer as a whole is going to vanish with the next generation.
No details on Far Cry 4 have been confirmed other than this quote from Mr.Key.
Have a good day everybody.
