Kingdom Hearts 3 Story and Combat Details Given by Square Enix

The Square Enix Game Director Tetsuya Nomura, sat down in an interview with Famitsu magazine and revealed many details about their upcoming game, Kingdom Hearts 3. The new Xbox One and PS4 game was revealed this year at Sony’s press conference at E3 2013. All we have seen of this game so far was the teaser trailer we saw at said press conference.

Nomura came out with plenty of details about Kingdom Hearts 3.

  • Nomura claims that the game starts after the events of right where Dream Drop Distance left off.
  •  He also goes into detail about some new changes they are doing with the visual style of KH3. He is quoted saying, “It may look like a pretty drastic change, but I see it as a rich evolution of everything we’ve shown you up to now.”
  •  He also dapples into the combat system of the game. He goes into detail about the party system, which includes a three person party plus which ever other NPC’S and Characters join in depending on the games many worlds. He also stats that the new enemies have smart AIs too which makes for a more “Dynamic” experience.

Now, its clear that with these changes Kingdom Hearts 3 is going to be a new experience all together. That being said, we still know very little about the game. Nomura says to keep a look out for more news soon! They will be back in the public spotlight. The game is still very early in development, and all we have to know about the game are these loose details and the teaser trailer shown at E3.

Have a good day everybody.

I think this game will be a hit. Everyone loves Kingdom hearts and they’ve been longing for a KH3 for an unbelievably long amount of time.

If it left off of where dream drop distance ended why isn’t it being released on the wii u instead of the xbox one? This is ridiculous.

Kingdom hearts should have stayed a Playstation exclusive and they should have never made most of those crappy spinoffs. They got stupider and stupider as they went along. Not to mention more and more childish. KH3 better have a much, much darker them to it if they want it to appeal to the people who have been playing since day one. Not the 8 year olds who just picked it up and enjoy fighting giant neon teddy bears.
