In the wake of the mixed response that the last installment of the series created, a throng of rumors and speculation have been circulating the gaming world regarding where the next Asssassin’s Creed game would take players. While some speculated that the series would be heading for the French Revolution or the Second World War, its quickly become apparent that the series is taking a pirate-filled turn towards the Caribbean seas with the next game’s title, setting and box art being leaked to Kotaku. Personally, I was a big fan of the naval combat (In fact, It was probably my favorite part of the game) that they introduced in Assasssin’s Creed 3 and think the pirate-filled setting could make for a more cohesive Assassin’s Creed experience.
