‘Minecraft’ sells 453,000 copies on December 24

While “Minecraft” has been on the market for quite some time, Mojang is still receiving an alarming number of sales from this title. With the holidays passing, it was suspected that many video game titles would receive a significant bump in the total amount of sales received. In regards to “Minecraft,” Notch has revealed that this intellectual property has received a total of 453,000 copies sold on December 24.

 

As stated, this number of copies have been received across all platforms that “Minecraft” currently resides on. For those of you that are not aware, “Minecraft” now reaches a total of four separate devices, of which include the PC, Xbox 360, iOS, and Android platforms.

 

Standing the test of time, “Minecraft” does not seem to be slowing down at all. This title still receives constant content updates from the developers of this title, as many new features are steadily being added to the game.
